2021/2022 provided us with a long list of ways that God will surprise you if you pray. From the beginning of ‘22, we’ve been praying for wisdom. For what job to take. For how to navigate selling the house. That second one proved to be tricky. We had a couple false starts in selling the house “by owner,” and we eventually knew that it was time to consider a realtor. Everyone had their recommendation, and everyone had something to say about the other realtor companies. Through a series of events, we were confident that God was leading us to work with Tim/Julie Schnepp at Remax (@remaxlegacy ). From giving sound advice about the listing process to guiding us through our priority list for items that needed to be fixed, we were much more confident when the house went on the market. But the real difference came when our inspection came back in the form of a 500 page novel with some serious repairs that needed to be addressed. Tim & Julie’s team took care of getting contractors for quotes, prioritizing what issues needed to be addressed and communicating with the buyers’ agent. We truly wanted to sell our house in a favorable condition for the buyers, but without Remax, there’s no way that we could have pulled it off. After thousands of dollars in repairs, we still walked away with what we needed for the next season of our life, and the sweet family who purchased our house received a much better version than what we purchases 4 years ago. Julie is a rockstar! She sold our house in 2 days, and helped us through our new home construction process. She went to bat for us and went above and beyond when we were having problems with our VA construction loan lender. She truly cares about her clients and fights for their best interests.
